Energy Efficiency Project
The Hotel Fruela, located in the heart of Oviedo, has implemented an innovative energy efficiency project that reinforces its commitment to sustainability. Thanks to funding from the Principality of Asturias under the Recovery, Transformation and Resilience Plan, the hotel has installed a 15,300 Wp photovoltaic system with 15.3 kWh of battery storage, thus reducing its electricity consumption and CO2 emissions. In addition, key equipment, such as an efficient dishwasher and wine cooler, has been replaced with energy-efficient models. With these improvements, the Hotel Fruela solidifies its position as a leader in sustainable tourism in Asturias, offering an experience that combines comfort, efficiency, and respect for the environment.
